• The GE GXRLQ refrigerator water filter kit can be used with the following:

  • Any refrigerator that does not already have a filter installed

  Although GE makes the filter, it can be used with any refrigerator to filter your water and ice.  Once you purchase the kit and install the GXRLQ on your wall behind your refrigerator, replacement filter GXRLQR can be changed by simply unscrewing the old filter and screwing in the new filter.

  The GE GXRLQ water filter system comes with everything you need to install and filter your water including 1 GXRLQR water filter. 

  This GE Smartwater GXRLQ refrigerator water filter meets NSF / ANSI standard 42 for the reduction of: 

  • 97.0% of Chlorine
  • Particulates Class I

  This GE Smartwater GXRLQ refrigerator water filter meets NSF / ANSI standard 53 for the reduction of: 

  • 99% of Lead
  • 99.99% of Cysts
  • 99% of Turbidity
  • 76% of Atrazine
  • 99% of Lindane
  • 99% of Sediment

Please note that the GXRLQ is a much improved better version on the Quadra Kleen and comes with everything necessary for installation.
